Things to See
There are many engaging historical video films that have been made for the Museum to portray many aspects of the Pier’s History.
Our “A Long Story” can be viewed in the Museum and is available on DVD.
There are many exhibits and artefacts to be inspected which will bring back memories for many local people.
The Films
- Watch the film “A Long Story”.
- Watch the video story of the Pier trains whilst sitting on one of the trains.
- Watch the fim about the wreck of the ship The London, blown up in 1665.
The Exhibits
- Follow the Timeline around the Museum displaying the History of the Pier
- There a number of scale models of boats and buildings
- There are many display boards on specific Pier related subjects.
The Sales Kiosk
- We have a range of small souvenirs.
- We have an extensive collection of local history books for sale.
- There are a number of postcards, posters and DVDs all related to the Pier and the seaside
